Ticker, new home page, and design update
We’ve just released an update to UpDown.com which included a new stock ticker, an updated home page, and an overall design improvement.
The stock ticker shows the stocks in your portfolio and watch list and stocks you’ve recently checked out on UpDown. The new home page that you see before logging in has more information on the market and what’s currently happening on UpDown.
Let us know what you think.

I love the new ticker!
I do have some other suggestions:
-Can the percent up or down be added to the chart on the main page on the left? It used to say how much (%) the S&P was up or down. Now it just says how many points it is up or down
-Can there be some indication of new messages on the main tab on the main page, maybe next to “Name” (Logout). It would be cool if there was a Message button to quickly access messages
-I would love a box with your most used or most recent locations. For instance, I check my performance a lot, it would be cool if there was a quick link list in a window on the side. Also, when you visit groups, they could show up in this list. It would be like a quick jump list

Hi Brendon,
Thank you for the feedback! The missing % numbers is a bug - thank you for discovering it!

Dudes, not cool making me click through offers to see my portfolio. As a user and affiliate, I can’t support this behavior. I know you’re trying to make some money, but the check boxes are not the way to do it, and plus I went through the list three times and you still wouldn’t let me see my portfolio.

This “improvement” is asinine. I can no longer view my portfolio; I have clicked through your check boxes at least five times. I cleared my cookies and cache, logged out and in multiple times, clicked through the list, and still cannot get to my portfolio. I strongly agree with Philip who says he cannot support this behavior.

It appears something about this change has impacted the widget on my blog showing my performance on UpDown. I am using Blogger and hope this error is corrected relatively soon.

Apparently, UpDown made a small change to the widget code. After copying and pasting the new code everything is fine now.

I never liked the page either way so it is not that big a deal to me, but having to click adds to see your portfolio?????? I am sure your following will soon become less. And personally, I keep seeing on your site that you can get the money you have earned from the front page. You can not get it from any front page that I have seen. SEVERAL emails to your “support” have not answered this question directly. Would be nice to get a straight answer from you people.
